Raleigh Firefighters Need Your Support for Separation Allowance

Right now Raleigh Firefighters do not receive separation allowance to help transition to retirement. Our firefighters deserve this benefit after 30 years of sacrifice in our community.

Fact is, Raleigh has not added a firefighter position since 2014 despite the city’s growth. Firefighters also contract cancer and die early at higher rates than other citizens.

Raleigh budget planning is in the progress and we stand with @raleigh_firefighters and @raleighpac in advocating City Council to pass Separation Allowance for YOUR Firefighters.

Take any of these actions towards a safer, better staffed, fire department:

✔️ Join the Raleigh City Council budget session on Monday March 10 at 4pm and wear red (222 W Hargett Street)
